The launch of the RER STREET TEAM
RER has always had a very DIY promo mindset and for now on that will be much more active and will run through our Street Team. The questionaire has some questions about you and your area that will help us build an information database. We will be accepting almost everyone that signs up and we really want to get a diverse mix of people from around the USA and the world.

This Is My Suitcase / The Sass Split will not be coming out, unfortunately.
Because of timing, unfinishhed rcording, and other issues, the split CD with The Sass and This Is My Suitcase will not be coming out in the near future. We are still good friends with This Is My Suitcase and may even work with them in some fashion in the future. This Is My Suitcase is the intellectual product/project of a guy named Joe , who is close friends with The Sass (he even has a cameo on their album...hint, hint "Let Go!"). Their music has been getting a lot of buzz and the project has now expanded into a full band experience. Our best description of it is cheeky, yet intelligent, infectiously catchy acoustic folk-power-pop-rock that is beautifully sarcastic, but still thought provoking and honest. New website and media, including full STREAMING set by The Sass
We have decided to make 21 Productions our media and technology partner and they will be handling most of those issues/projects in the future. We are really excited to continually working with them, as they are doing amazing work. They have just finished a website re-vamp that has integrated all three partner sites (http://www.righteyerecords.com | http://www.clamchowderproductions.com | http://www.music2rock2.com), which is very excellent. They have also finished editing the full set by The Sass from the Sunbake Festival 2005 in September. Unfortunately, due to the sound company's mistake, the sound levels are fair amount off, so for a good portion of the show Nick's mic is turned up way too loud. The entire thing is streaming and downloadable in the media section.
The Sass' official music video for "Fractions" will be done in Mid-November (or so) and it will be most definitely super awesome. Other recent live footage of RER bands has been added to the media section as well and more will be continue to be added in the future. RER has a strong commitment to promoting our bands through the use of different types of media and we think that is quite cool and fun!

NEW MUSIC: Skylar's Dream and Wind Behind the Wall
Skylar's Dream has a brand new amazing song up called "Bailey's Beach" at www.purevolume.com/skylarsdream (they also have three other new songs that aren't posted) and Wind Behind the Wall has finally posted their three fabulous new demos at www.purevolume.com/windbehindthewall.

College radio stations and The Sass
We are starting a college radio campaign for The Sass this Fall. The stations below are ones we met at CMJ last month and they have the album and have been informed about it. These are our test stations and we will be seeing how it does and planning our campaign accordingly. Please call or email these stations and request The Sass. Other random news and The Sass stuff
- The Sass and Skylar's Dream albums are now available through Very Distribution (http://www.verydistro.com) and independent (and some chain) stores can order the albums directly from Very. So, go to your local record store and request one of the albums and ask them to order it...because they almost definitely don't have it now.
- The Sass is playing a BIG showcase in LA in early February with some great bands. They will be out there meeting people, talking to some producers, and hopefully talking to some cool people in the business. It should be a big time for them, so we are all excited and are preparing for that week a lot. Then, it likes they will be going on tour with an awesome rock band from LA called The Hanks, so please give them a listen here!
